Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri have vowed to do everything they can to keep Joe Biden from being inaugurated. And as punishment, Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts has disbarred them!
Both Cruz and Hawley are attorneys, so even more than most senators, they should know better than to put on the ridiculous charade that’s convincing their ignorant supporters that they can overturn the election and hand Trump a second term.
So Roberts has dropped the socialist-communist hammer on them (isn’t everything we don’t like socialist and communist these days?).
And this isn’t like the nonexistent disbarment of Michelle and Barack Obama. This is real, and they are permanently banned from practicing law for the rest of their miserable lives.
We never thought John Roberts would turn into a lightning rod for the right-wing morons like he has in the last month or so. But then again, we never expected the losing loser named Donald Dipsh*t Trump to refuse to accept his crushing loss.
Sandy Batt, spokeswoman for Roberts, said, “These guys know better, but they’re proving their corruption. It’s a shame, really.”
And here we are: nearly 150 Republican House members and a dozen or so Republican Senators — including Cruz and Hawley — are doing their level best to out-idiot each other and therefore attract the Trumpian knuckle-draggers to vote for them in their next races.
Both Hawley and Cruz want to run for president in 2024, and since the majority of Republicans are completely brainwashed morons, they need to pander to the lowest common denominator and pretend like they’re defending the country from mythical voter fraud.
It won’t work. But if tears the remnants of the Republican Party to shreds — then you’ll get an “amen” and a “boy howdy, that’s great news” from me.
