President Trump and his wife Melania enjoy dressing up on Halloween immensely. Every year for as long as anyone can remember, Trump has held a Halloween Ball, attended by the “Who’s Who” of high society.
Now that he’s in the White House, he has not changed that, holding Halloween bashes in each of the past three years.
The president always tries to amuse his guests with his costume and is usually quite successful at that. He is imaginative and creative which always makes for something unique.
Yesterday, at a Mar-a-Lago gathering, the president and the First Lady previewed their costumes for this year in front of the club’s guests.
They had a difficult time keeping a straight face as they put on their masks, their words constantly interrupted by fits of laughter.
Once the masks were on, the reason for this laughter became clear. The two were adorned in very realistic and lifelike masks depicting Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
That was funny enough but when President Trump explained his reasons for choosing these costumes, the entire crowd roared with laughter and approval.
“We thought long and hard about what to dress as this year. It’s been a rough year for everybody and we wanted to make sure that whatever we chose was entertaining, giving everybody a break from their problems with a good laugh.
So I have chosen to be my opponent, Joe Biden, on Halloween, and Melania will ugly herself up by becoming Hillary Clinton. I bet you’re wondering why we would use these two? That’s easy!
We decided that this year we would go out dressed as losers! And those two definitely fit the bill!”
The gathered crowd could not contain themselves and their laughter went on for what seemed like an eternity. Donald Trump is known for great costume ideas, and this may be the best yet.
