Throughout his career in both business and politics, Donald Trump has built a reputation for telling us the hard truths. While liberals find his candor callous and cringeworthy, Americans know it to be fair and necessary.

One can not make America great again without speaking the way it was when it was great.

Trump’s Christmas speech to us this year was much the same. He beckoned back to the Ronald Reagan presidency when Christmas was truly at its holly jolly apex in America.

We could wish each other a “Merry Christmas” without fear of ridicule or, as it now is in Dearborn, Michigan, beheading. A song like “Baby It’s Cold Outside” wasn’t considered rapey like the left now considers it. It was an era where we trusted one another.

Perhaps it really was just cold outside? Sure, Dean Martin probably had a few drinks in him, but what do you really expect?

The speech also featured readings from some American Christmas classics, as well as a few songs. Melania gave us a splendid rendition of “A Visit from St. Nicholas” that only her exotic Slavic accent could pull off.

Even Barron Trump graced us with a rare glimpse as Tiny Tim during the First Family’s re-enactment of the final scene from the Charles Dickens classic “A Christmas Carol”. Trump, himself, brought the house down as he sang “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” while operating a marionette of Joe Biden rigging voting machines.

While there was definitely a Yuletide spirit to his message, it was not without a stark warning. Christmas, as it has been restored by the Trump administration, is being threatened by the Democratic Party.

Their oppressive ideology infringes upon the true meaning of American Christmas. When Santa says, “Ho Ho Ho. Merry Christmas”, he’s really bestowing holiday cheer upon Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ilhan Omar. The liberal diminishing of Christmas is a harbinger of what is to come.

What’s next? Fourth of July? There is no end to the un-American evil that lurks in the hearts and minds of democrats. This year, I hope they all get lumps of coal.
