Subaru is all over the Democratic Party, from sponsoring the Democratic National Convention to directly advertising to known liberal communities. Now, they threaten to discriminate in who can buy their cars.
According to whistle-blower Joe Barron, who is employed by the Office of the Undersecretary to the Commissioner of the Better Business Bureau’s Chief Field Operative Unit, Subaru is launching an entire business model oriented around sexual preference. By designing a car buying experience, exclusive to people who are gay, specifically women, the company says it is reversing years of sexual discrimination in the industry. Says Barron:
“We became aware of the plans when the marketing plan was released, which we felt might be offensive to some viewers. Generally, the use of scantily-clad young women to sell products can only be used to market to men, according to FCC Rules.”
When reached for comment, Subaru representatives dismissed charges of discrimination. According to the planned small print to be provided upon the announcement of the new dealerships, anyone can utilize the dealerships to buy a vehicle, or service a vehicle for that matter.
However, they may feel a little uncomfortable in doing so. Announced Subaru:
“It is time we allowed people to express who they are in comfort, which should be extended to the way in which people buy cars. Dealerships will be employed by females only, and men who are allowed to by those females. If any man falls out of line, they will be summarily discharged. Each dealership will also proudly fly the Gay Pride Flag.”
Subaru now plans to run ahead with their marketing strategy, to recognize the experience and perspective of individuals, with a marketing campaign meant to seize on that atrocity. It appears it is okay now to market to only to specific cultural subgroups in society!
Since when was that okay in a free market??
