Nancy Pelosi has confided in her most trusted friends and allies that she won’t be continuing in Congress much longer. Now that she’s lost the Speaker’s job, she says it’s just not the same and it’s time to retire/
“Nancy wants to be able to relax and enjoy her golden years and have a drink without people judging her,” says spokesman Joe Barron, “she’s earned that.”
Adam Schiff will step into the role of House Minority Leader while the Democrats regroup. As for Pelosi, she says she’s looking forward to never having to be in the same room with Donald Trump again.
The Democrats plan to name their side of the chamber after her.
