In what can only be described as a stunning breach of journalistic integrity, MSNBC has been caught red-handed staging interviews with so-called “former Trump voters” who now claim to regret their decision. The network, known for its totally unbiased and fair reporting, allegedly recruited left-wing activists to pose as heartbroken MAGA supporters suffering from an extreme case of buyer’s remorse after realizing that their orange savior wasn’t, in fact, the selfless billionaire genius they once believed.

The ruse began unraveling when conservative watchdogs started digging into the backgrounds of these “disillusioned Trump supporters.” One such guest, Joe Barron, appeared on Morning Joe last week, somberly explaining how he had been a “die-hard Trump voter” but could no longer support him after “learning about facts and reality.” A quick search of Barron’s social media, however, revealed that he had not only been a registered Democrat for 20 years but also had a Bernie Sanders tattoo on his left calf. Oops.

Another so-called regretful Trump voter, Art Tubolls, was invited onto The ReidOut to tell his tragic tale of disillusionment. Fighting back tears, Tubolls explained how he had once believed in Trump’s promise to “drain the swamp,” but now realized the former president was a “con artist who tricked hard-working Americans into believing he cared about them.” Unfortunately for MSNBC, Tubolls had previously worked as a speechwriter for the DNC and was once arrested for attempting to glue himself to the floor of a Chase Bank in protest of capitalism.

MSNBC, of course, adamantly denies any wrongdoing, insisting that these individuals represent a growing movement of “sensible Americans” who have awakened to the “real dangers” of a second Trump term. Network executives released a statement clarifying that “truth is subjective” and “if someone identifies as a former Trump voter, who are we to question their lived experience?”

Further investigation has uncovered even more suspicious testimonials, including:

  • A woman who claimed Trump’s policies caused her family’s farm to go bankrupt. She later admitted she had never set foot outside of Brooklyn and thought “agriculture” meant “the way you wear a beanie.”
  • A retired steelworker who said Trump’s tariffs cost him his job. It turns out he has never worked in steel but did once get a paper cut while opening an Amazon box.
  • A man who swore he had MAGA bumper stickers on all his vehicles. He was later spotted driving a Tesla covered in “Coexist” stickers and a massive “Eat the Rich” decal.

Despite overwhelming evidence, MSNBC has refused to retract the reports, doubling down on their commitment to what they call “emotional truth,” which is apparently a fancy way of saying “making stuff up if it helps the cause.”

At press time, CNN was reportedly working on its own special featuring a lifelong Republican named “Beau Regretterson” who planned to denounce Trump while sobbing into a framed picture of Barack Obama.

God Bless America.
