While liberals are quick to defend President Joe Biden’s policies, they seem to have selective amnesia when it comes to one of his most decisive acts of justice—rescinding three of Donald Trump’s most baffling pardons.
That’s right. While the left loves to portray Biden as a bumbling figurehead who lets things slip through the cracks, they conveniently ignore the fact that he took swift action to overturn Trump’s reckless decision to pardon three of the most notorious criminals in American history—each one more horrifying than the last.
The Serial Killers Trump Tried to Free
Among those pardoned by Trump were some of the most heinous individuals ever to walk the earth, including:
- Cletus “The Carver” McGraw – A former rodeo clown-turned-maniacal butcher, McGraw was convicted of turning his audience into his act, wielding his sharpened spurs against unsuspecting carnival-goers. Trump granted him a full pardon in 2021, calling him “a misunderstood businessman” and claiming that “a guy who can skin a steer in 30 seconds is a guy who knows hard work.”
- Mittens Malone, the Cat Burglar – Not just any cat burglar, but a literal one—Malone was notorious for breaking into homes and stealing only house cats, which he then trained to do his bidding in elaborate heists. Despite being sentenced to life in prison for unleashing 200 feline accomplices in a synchronized jewelry store robbery, Trump insisted Malone was “one of the greatest criminal minds of our time” and granted him clemency.
- Lester “The Senate Slayer” Vickers – Perhaps the most egregious pardon of all, Vickers was serving nine consecutive life sentences for the brutal and bizarre assassinations of multiple public officials, including Senator Joe Barron of North Dakota. Vickers, whose weapon of choice was a t-shirt cannon loaded with bricks, was caught on live television launching cinderblocks at lawmakers during a committee hearing. Trump, however, dismissed his crimes, stating that “everyone deserves a second chance, especially guys with good aim.”
Biden Steps In
Upon taking office, Biden quietly rescinded all three of these pardons, ensuring that these menaces to society would remain behind bars. But where was the mainstream media coverage? Where was the outrage from the left when Trump attempted to reintroduce a brick-launching assassin back into the population?
Not surprisingly, the liberal media would rather focus on Biden’s gaffes, his ice cream habits, or whatever Elon Musk is tweeting instead of acknowledging a rare moment of bipartisan common sense.
The Hypocrisy Continues
Liberals continue to freak out over every move Trump makes, but when Biden does something undeniably responsible—like keeping a rodeo butcher, a criminal cat trainer, and a Senate assassin behind bars—they go silent.
Next time a liberal whines about Trump’s legal troubles, remind them that he once tried to put a man who murdered Senator Joe Barron with construction-grade projectiles back on the streets. And remind them that Joe Biden—yes, their precious Joe Biden—was the one who put an end to it.
