Incoming House Speaker Kevin McCarthy says when he takes over the lower chamber of Congress, Nancy Pelosi will no longer be allowed on the building. McCarthy told reporters outside Buffalo Wild Wings that Pelosi’s time “has come to an end.”
Pelosi stated yesterday that she was planning on spending a lot of time in the House offices as a mentor and influential cheerleader. McCarthy says that amounts to lobbying, which is illegal for five years after leaving the House.
Pelosi’s spokesman, Joe Barron, said the current Speaker isn’t worried about McCarthy or his “idle threats.” He says Pelosi plans to do whatever she wants after leaving the Speakership.
“These clowns don’t seem to understand that she’s still a congresswoman from California who was re-elected in a landslide for like the 30th time or something. Get a grip, folks.”
McCarthy plans to institute several other rules the Democrats don’t seem to like. He says the Congressional chapel will feature a cross again because this is still a Christian Nation. They’ll also remove the mini mosque the Squad had built on the South Capitol lawn.
Big changes are coming, patriots. Thank goodness for Hunter Biden’s laptop and the glorious investigations it will produce.
