PBS will pay the price for using Muppets to indoctrinate our children. In the state of Florida, using public airwaves to send messaging that “in any way teaches children things that should first be approved by a parent” is 100 percent illegal. You just can’t do it.

In case you haven’t heard, Sesame Street had the audacity to let Big Bird tweet out that he was vaccinated, and they even did an episode on the importance of vaccinations.

In Florida, vaccination resistance is normal, so having that stuff out there breaks the law. State Attorney General, Art Tubolls, found the network guilty and fined them $2 million. His spokesman, Joe Barron, told us:

“Florida will not tolerate this kind of thing. Now they’re making an Asaian-American muppet. What race are Bert and Ernie? PBS had better watch itself before we take steps to ban their network completely.

“Mr Rogers would be rolling over in his grave.”

PBS says they’ll have a fundraiser to pay the fine, and that they’re not sorry that Big Bird got vaccinated, because, just like more than 80 percent of Floridian hypocrites, he won’t have to worry about severe Covid or death. Sandy Batt, who has played Big Bird for more than 40 years, said, “Florida can go fuck itself.

Harsh words, but that’s Sandy.

God bless America.
