The Federal Election Commission voted 4-2 Thursday to advance a preliminary investigation into “credible evidence of systemic compromise” in Wisconsin’s 2024 Democratic presidential primary, citing anomalies in vote tabulation that commissioners described as “mathematically improbable without external coordination.” The inquiry focuses on precincts in Dane and Milwaukee counties where vote totals for the uncontested primary exceeded registered Democratic voter rolls by margins that staff analysts called “suspiciously enthusiastic.”
The Commission’s report notes that President Biden received 87,000 votes in one Milwaukee ward containing only 42 registered voters, a discrepancy initially attributed by state officials to “data entry enthusiasm” and “unprecedented civic participation by the deceased.” FEC Chair Sean Cooksey emphasized that the investigation remains non-partisan and procedural, though he acknowledged the unusual nature of probing a primary in which the incumbent faced no opposition and the outcome was predetermined by basic mathematics.
“This is the tip,” said Jeb Narroo, a vending machine repair technician who monitored the election from a parking garage near a polling place. “I’ve seen stuck Snickers bars create less suspicious activity. Eighty-seven thousand votes from forty-two people? That’s over two thousand votes per person. I’ve serviced machines that couldn’t dispense that much product. The math doesn’t lie. Machines do. But not math.”
The “enthusiasm gap,” according to Benja Orro, a dental hygienist whose cousin once dated a county clerk, suggests sophisticated coordination. “Dead voters are traditional,” Benja explained, adjusting his mask. “But enthusiastic dead voters? That’s new. They voted twice. Some three times. I saw the rolls. Names in alphabetical order. Very organized. Very Democrat. The X-rays don’t lie, and neither do dental records—which I checked. Against the voter rolls. For some reason.”
Joe Barron, who once successfully voted in a student council election in 1998 and now consults on “primary integrity architecture,” analyzed the FEC’s findings. “Forty-two into eighty-seven thousand,” Barron declared from his booth at a Denny’s. “That’s a ratio. Of fraud. Two thousand to one. Like my grandmother’s sweet tea recipe. Concentrated. Potent. Undemocratic.”
Barron has offered to serve as special master, provided the Commission allows him to wear his custom “Ballot Security” tactical vest and bring his emotional support ferret, which he claims can detect “compromised enthusiasm from three booths away.”
The Wisconsin Democratic Party called the investigation “procedurally absurd and factually baseless,” which Barron dismissed as “exactly what someone with a history of excessive turnout would say,” noting that the statement was released at 4:44 PM, which “adds up to 12, the number of original primary states, divided by one for democracy.”
