California Governor Gavin Newsome signed the state’s new “Voting Honor System” into law, making the nation’s most populous state the easiest to launch a fraudulent voting campaign from. Residents will now be able to simply grab a ballot, fill it out, and drop it in a “secure” box to be collected and counted by election officials.
That’s it. No registration, no citizenship checks, no identification required for anything. Just a California address and a name. The state’s Republican party is challenging the measure in court. Congressman Joe Barron (R-Murietta) says he can’t understand why the issue isn’t more important to voters.
“They just don’t seem to care. They can just vote for whoever they want, whenever they want. There’s no oversight or control. It’s insane.”
The Democrat Party hasn’t answered our requests for comment.

Legal analysts say the measure doesn’t really do much of anything, considering that’s exactly how most mail-in voting works. The people of California are automatically registered to vote. By signing their name and listing their address, they get checked off. If someone tries to vote twice, they get charged. Luckily for them, that seems to be more of an issue for Republicans.
Add to that the obvious satire disclaimers, and what we have here is another example of California and the Democrats trying to destroy our democracy.
