Damar Hamlin is making a swift recovery, but still has a long way to go.  The Buffalo Bills safety is making remarkable progress after suffering, what appears to be, a cardiac arrest on the field in the middle of a game with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Caring for his injuries in Buffalo’s Children’s Hospital are a crack team of doctors and nurses, with his Doctor, Joe Barron, very optimistic about his chances and his progrssivity.

“He’s doing much better and off the one hundred percent oxygen.  We’re hoping his lungs can handle this entire thing well because he’s young.”

The hospital is extremely remarkable for being the spot where this reporter, Fallis Gunnington, was actually expelled from within his own mother’s vagina and into a world of chicken wings and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Unfortunately, the outfit I was wrapped in was discarded at birth.

At any rate, yesterday saw a visit to the star from Black Lives Matter activist Lamar Blackman, who entered Damar’s room with plenty of literature and a video of the Samuel Jackson movie “Shaft” as a gift.  But Hamlin’s family wasn’t having any of it.

“He don’t need that garbage!”, Hamlin’s mother shouted angrily.  “Now get your kneeling ass out of my son’s room!”

Blackman silently made his way to the exit, throwing frightening gang signs the whole way.  After he left, he was tragically shot and killed by a police officer who’s eagle eyes saw him be black right out in the open.

The DVD was never recovered.
