Overcome with emotion and beaming with pride, ex-boyfriend of Amy Coney Barrett Koiwu ‘Kony’ Azubuike posted a video on Instagram that is a heartfelt love letter to his former lover.
The couple, who parted ways in 2012, remain good friends, and the newly appointed Supreme Court justice was very thankful for the kind words.
Azubuike immigrated from Nigeria to the USA in 2002 under a “genius visa” for his uncanny ability to solicit online donations. The couple met during his immigration hearing in 2004 when his visa came into question.
Amy, while initially opposed to his visa, was taken aback by Azubuike upon his arrival in court. His calm demeanor and exotic accent won her over immediately, and his visa was maintained.
Shortly after the court date, she began courting Azubuike. For her, it was love at first sight, and using the same determination that drove her to the highest court in the land, Kony would be hers.
“We went on our first date, and apparently he had never experienced a woman with such properly mowed lady bits before. That’s when I knew I had him.”
The couple quickly moved in together and began to plan their future. While her career continued to soar, Azubuike found himself lost in the shadows of his far more successful partner.
Now that he was a US citizen, he could no longer ask for money online as a Nigerian prince. His conscious simply wouldn’t allow it. He began work as a janitor at the local Planned Parenthood, which would ultimately bring about the end of their relationship.
“I loved that man like I’ve loved no other. He made my body feel things no white….no man has ever made me feel before. It breaks my heart to this day that I chose my career over him. The fact is I would never have succeeded with a partner working for Planned Parenthood.”
Who knows what the future holds for the former couple. While they clearly still hold feelings for each other, Azubuike has been seen publicly with Khloe Kardashian.
Rumors of their romance are swirling all over the internet. But a woman such as Amy Coney Barrett is a once in a lifetime catch. The Kardashians will fade away. The Supreme Court is a lifetime appointment. What would you do?
