Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) isn’t happy that his own party sabotaged his re-election bid. Cawthorn lost to another Trump supporter by fewer than 1500 votes after the Republican National Committee released all of its opposition research on the young congressman. Cawthorn has been bombarded with accusations of being gay with his own cousin, wearing women’s lingerie, and illegally hiring his gay cousin for his political staff.

Now, with a bitter frown, Cawthorn has named the three lawmakers who allegedly took him to a “cocaine orgy” when he first got to Washington. They are Congressman Joe Barron (R-OR), Congresswoman Sandy Batt (R-ID), and Senator Joe Konders (R-OH). Cawthorn says they took him to an exclusive club and when he refused to participate, left him outside for hours with no way home. Cawthorn may be able to sue them for damages.

Cawthorn had no chance of pulling off a victory once the half-normal people of Asheville noticed that he went far above and beyond what is acceptable for a Republican candidate. Cawthorn still won the outlying areas by wide margins, showing that his particular brand of Republican is still strong.

Trump hasn’t said whether or not he believes the young man, but he doesn’t want him in the party, mostly because he’s “defective.” According to the former President, “anyone who sits in a wheelchair who didn’t serve is a pansy.”
