After extreme pressure by Demonrats, liberal Justice Stephen Breyer will step down from his seat on the Supreme Court after more than 27 years of service. Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have been chomping at the bit to replace the 83 year old Breyer with a younger libturd since Sleepy Joe entered office a year ago.
Now, it looks like they will get their chance.
Reid, at 53 years old and a well-known liberal firebrand at MSNBC, could easily lead as the Supreme Court’s Chief Justice for 30 plus years.
Her appointment as Chief Justice will oust conservative Chief Justice John Roberts, who will assume Breyer’s seat as a regular Justice. This will place her in position to decide which cases the SCOTUS will hear and which they will not. It effectively throws a wrench into the Trump court by preventing the SCOTUS from hearing conservative appeals when liberals win in the lower courts, should Ms. Reid so decide.
Born in Brooklyn, Reid’s father, who was mostly absent from the family, was from the Congo and her mother was from Guyana. In 1991, she graduated with a degree in film studies.
Her career in “journalism” began in 1997 on local TV, followed by an online blog, then talk radio and a stint working for a local newspaper. In 2014, she began her controversial career at MSNBC, one of the largest purveyors of fake news. In 2018, the New York Times published a piece describing her as “…heroine of the anti-Trump resistance.”
She currently sits at the MSNBC anchor desk spreading liberal garbage during the 7pm (Eastern) time slot.
Can Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell do anything to stop her confirmation in the Senate? Or will he now regret his choice to get rid of the filibuster on SCOTUS appointments?
It appears that the latter will be his only option and he will have no choice but to endure the butthurt and retreat to his shell.
