The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an award bestowed by the President of the United States to recognize people who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

Before the end of the year, President Trump will honor five distinguished Americans with this award.

The list is a virtual who’s who of America.

Without further ado…

Kid Rock

Robert James Ritchie, aka Kid Rock, has been championing American freedom through his music and contributions to conservative causes for nearly three decades.

Trump tells us, “He’s American as apple pie. And I’ve eaten many apple pies from all over the world. He’s definitely the American one.”

Rachel Dolezal

Her bravery in standing up to the NAACP has been an inspiration to all Americans.

Trump says, “Rachel has made great strides in breaking stereotypes in America. She has led an exemplary life as a pseudo-African American and her story will continue to inspire for generations to come.”

Chuck Norris

Both on and off the screen, Chuck put China in its place. Whether administering beat downs in Chinese temples or justice on the plains of Texas, Chuck Norris personifies American grit and authority.

Trump boasts about Norris, “Chuck Norris is so free that awarding Chuck Norris the Medal of Freedom, actually lessens Chuck Norris’s freedom.”

Vladimir Putin

While it is not required to be a US citizen to receive the award, it rarely happens. Putin’s contributions to the Trump administration have been too numerous to count.

“Without the kindness and generosity displayed by Vladimir Putin, we would not have reached the level of success, nor enjoyed the freedoms awarded by that success, that we have the last four years.”

Jerry Falwell Jr.

This one is more of a gesture than a true award.

Jerry’s had a rough year. In regards to his dear friend, Trump simply says, “I feel you, brother. I’ve been there. My whole cabinet has been there.”
