It is widely known that the champions of the major sports all go to the White House to meet the President.
As this year’s champions, Lebron James and the Lakers were excited to visit the White House, but they seem to have forgotten that they disrespected America by kneeling and President Trump did not forget.
President Trump made the announcement that the Los Angeles Lakers, who really wanted to go to the White House, were not welcomed to the White House due to their un-American ways. Here are his full remarks:
“These are horrible people, okay. They said really bad things about me. Really nasty things. Why should I let them in my house? This is my house, after all. Maybe this will teach them a lesson. I know they were looking forward to meeting me, their President, so maybe if they apologize to me, I’ll let them visit. Until then, they are not welcome. If you disrespect me, you disrespect America.”
Third-string point guard of the Lakers, Joe Barron, had this to say about being banned:
“This is awful. My life’s dream was to meet the President, but now, because of my disrespectful actions, I am no longer invited. I am truly sorry and hope the President forgives me for saying what I said about me. He sure showed me the error in my ways by banning me from the White House.
Please forgive me, Mr. Trump. I am so sorry and want to see the White House. Please don’t take away my only goal in life. This means everything to me”
It is great news to see these losers put in their place. These overpaid crybabies could learn a lesson or two from President Trump. Maybe now they have been banned, will reconsider their statements about Trump.
