The final bill cost for the Democratic National Convention came in, and it was a staggering $175 million dollars. That is $175 MILLION dollars to tax paying Americans.
The Central Business Office of the United States reported that the cost was to be $50 million but the Democrats overshot that amount by a whopping $125 million dollars.
The additional costs came from various expenses from the convention. Over $28,000,000 was spent on food alone, while $9 million was spent on booze.
The democratic committee charges the U.S. Taxpayers every four years for their conventions, but this year was the most expensive in history.
Attendees dined on lobster, crab, steak, and chicken, prepared by expensive chefs. There was also an open bar, and reports came back that Nancy Pelosi spent every night of the four-night convention at the bar, apparently getting plastered at the taxpayers’ expense.
Other expenses were entertainment, grab bags that included expensive handbags and bottles of expensive wines.
The democratic convention was one of the lowest-rated in history as well, as enthusiasm for Biden was very low and most Americans are supporting the re-election of Donald Trump.
The speeches went on way too long with little substance, as the speakers were eager to get back to their tables to chow down on the various seafood dishes.
One chef, Joseph Barron, was shocked by the amount that attendees took home with them, the Obama’s being the biggest grifters, having 20 meals shipped to their hotel.
Big expenses included firework displays, carnival rides, and a petting zoo for Joe Biden, who exclaimed “it’s not a party without ponies!”
Mr. Biden spent much of his time with the children at the party playing games with them, as it was the best way to keep an eye on him so he didn’t wander off too far.
