What do Rihanna, St. Patrick’s day, and transsexual dancers all have in common?  Nothing at all, unless you’re talking about the upcoming St. Patty’s day parade in New York City.

After an epic misfire at this year’s Superbowl presentation, Rihanna has apparently been given a second chance to perform during the mile-long human twisty worm walk this time, leading the festivities on the premiere float nicknamed “Tolerance”.

Her backup singers and dancers will reportedly be an entire troupe of drag queens and transexuals known collectively as the “Travelling Strawberries”. The Strawberries have become popular most recently for appearing at President Biden’s inauguration ceremony.

The parade has a long and storied tradition in New York, as the city’s population has a large percentage of sons and daughters of Irish descent.  Irish Organization head poobah Joe Barron told assorted media sources that he was very excited for the event.

“I absolutely can it wait for the parade this year.  We’ve really secured the best entertainment with Rihanna on board and those trannies behind her doing the old shakey shakey.  It’s going to be a blast!”

Barron stepped back a bit and added a quick statement.

“It’s at this time that I’m contractually obligated to inform everyone that this event will be sponsored by Molson Golden beer.  Molson Golden will make you: ‘Fly By Night away from here’. Thank you.”

The parade will begin on St. Patrick’s day.  Obviously.
