It’s February, and that means it’s Black History month.  First proposed by black historian Carter G. Woodson, it was then ratified by President Ford in 1976.  It’s meant to celebrate and learn about the important history of Black Americans within the country, and their contributions to society and culture.

This week, the NAACP had a bash at their Queeftown, Virginia branch, and among other honorees, Whoopi Goldberg, talk show host, actress and political activist appeared, along with the reverend Al Sharpton to speak her praises.

“Whoopi is an unmitigated gift,” Sharpton began in that sing-song voice that wafted in and out of reverence.  “She has been an incredible steward of the black experience here in America, and everything she feels and says is what we believe.”

Well, maybe not everything.  Black military veteran and conservative icon Joe Barron disagreed with the reverend.

“Pay your taxes!” he shouted in front of the event in the street where everybody thought he was a random crackhead crazy person.  “Pay your taxes!  Pay your taxes!”

Barron was taken aside by a pedestrian and informed of Donald Trump’s tax situation.  He seemed thoughtful for a moment, shook his head, and then continued.

“Pay your taxes!  Pay your taxes!”

The sentiment was directed at Sharpton, who evidently had some tax problems early on and has already taken care of it, but these moldy old conservative dickheads don’t have a clue.  Even still.
