What two things go together perfectly and always have since the dawn of the great nation of America?  If you said “Hunter Biden and sticky keyboards”, you’re half right.

The real answer is beer and football.  Since the first Superbowl, back in 1967, beer has been a mainstay at any stadium chosen for the solemn event.  Back then, it was all Michelob and Pabst, with their parent companies making nearly a half million dollars from the game alone.

Currently, that’s enough money to buy dinner for two, minus dessert.

Now the sales on Superbowl Sunday have broken the one billion mark.   Until this year, it seems, when the total is looking to be a big fat zero, thanks to the Muslammic Society of northern Arizona.

The society held protests to have the sweet liquid banned from sale within the grounds of State Farm stadium, and the stadium and promoters listened.  Joe Barron, head of security for the venue, gave a statement.

“This is a woke stadium in a woke state with woke players.  As such, we are banning the sale of beer and other drinks from the event at this time.  Every one who wants a refreshment is free to visit our Yoo Hoo stands or the fentynol distributors within the confines of the stadium.”

A “woke” Superbowl?  Great.  Now all the players can read the Coriander while they kneel down during the black national anthem.
