California School Announces All-Kids Drag Show

The so-called “drag show” has been a time-honored tradition since the 1920’s, although dressing in drag costumes actually originated in the 1500’s.  Creating a singing, dancing, pantomime troupe to carry out entertainment was a great and powerful show of resistance to the prohibition movement.

Now, in modern-day America, many conservatives, already primed to find anything involving children to be instantly “grooming” by Donald Trump and the ridiculous “Q” conspiracy theory, feel that drag shows are suddenly “sexual” somehow, and “adult entertainment”.

In a country where immigration and war are grand subjects, it’s nice to see them busy themselves with the shithead minutiae.

Currently underway at the prestigious Prager University campus in Queefblastery, California, is a plan to perform a drag show with all children as the hosts and stars.  Boundry- pushing?  Not really. Theater teacher and organizer Joe Barron explained.

“I don’t get how a drag show suddenly became ‘adult entertainment’. Nobody disrobes.  For Christ’s sake, kids are in those disgusting ‘dance mom’ shows.  They watch Bugs Bunny.  Literally nobody gets laid.  That’s what we’re trying to prove with this show.”

The production is also a charity event, with all proceeds going directly to the Association of Intermediary Drag Shows.  It’s an A.I.D.S. benefit.

Gates will open on March 5th for two shows nightly.  Refreshments will be served by Barbara Bikesteind and Paul Lyndenburger.
