Drag queens have been endemic in American culture since the 1800’s. Even long before that, Shakespearian plays and Vaudeville acts featured cross-dressing men and women in entertaining shows, open to all family members, including the most fragile: the children.
What happens when the world’s leading family entertainment group of the modern age embraces this perverted practice? Well, it appears that Disney is just itching to find out.
Starting this last weekend at Disneyworld, a brand new ride appeared, replacing “It’s a Small World” in the park’s center. It’s called “Uncle Nutsy Sings the Blues”, and it’s full-on, part and parcel, full of animatronic drag queens.

The ride itself resembles a boat race, where each small “Volkswagon Jetta” reproduction is filled with guests, and then travels down a “road”, surrounded by Uncle Nutsy, the lead drag queen in a stunning red dress and boa ensemble, and his band of travelling entertainers, “The Drag Dominators.”
Songs are performed to wildly gyrating antics about the life of being a misunderstood cross-dresser and the prospects facing modern LGBTQ Americans. At the end, every boy, girl, or other, is presented with a photo of their experience.
Seven year old Joey Barron loved his experience and promises to return for more in the future.
“It was super awesome, and I loved the part where Uncle Nutsy does the can can,” he exclaimed. “I hope he and his friends stay at Disney until I have kids!”
