America’s Motor City has a deep criminal history that dates back to before President Barack Obama, who once stated succinctly that it was : “A city where both cars and dreams drive the economy equally.”
With the local police force stretched thin over day after day of shootings, drug busts, and thousands of gang-related crimes, it’s long been suffering an explosion of violence and despair. The liberal city planners are overwhelmed.
Now, thanks to sheriff’s deputy Joe Barron, who was installed last month, the city proper is trying a different tactic : legalizing cocaine. Yes, you read that right.
Crack and cocaine busts account for nearly 90% of all illegal substance arrests, and the move could lessen the impact on police overtime pay, drug counselors, and many other expenses. Drugular expert and kingpin El Chapo commented on the idea in Esquire magazine.
“I theenk eet ees a good theeng that ees being done. Cocaine, she ees only a leetle beet of our wide array of American style drogs. We weel cope and by thee way, ees now two for one sale on eight ball. You want, or ees time for reedle weeth bullets?”
Drug dealers aside, cocaine is no joke for the “woke” elected officials to play with. Well, it is to Eric Clapton. But who cares.
