Protesters Paint Christ Statue Black, Say ‘Now It’s Not Racist’

The protesters that we’ve seen roaming the streets for the past month will stop at nothing. They have no limits and they have no boundaries. It’s bad enough that they attacked and destroyed the images of our nation’s founders, but now they have moved on to religion, destroying and vandalizing iconic statues of faith.

In Seattle, a long-standing sculpture of Christ Our Lord and Savior, at the Church of Balthazar was desecrated yesterday, presumably by Antifa thugs.

This time, however, they didn’t topple the statue as they have so many others. This time, they chose to paint Christ’s image so that he was no longer as he really was.

They painted him black.

A spray-painted note on the sidewalk nearby indicated that the vandals didn’t see it that way. In bright red spray paint was written, “Now it is right and not racist.“

Many leftists are of the belief that Jesus Christ had a darker complexion, similar to that of someone native to the continent of Africa. As ludicrous as this seems, they cling to this belief with all their might. It seems that these same fools may have painted this depiction in order to “prove” their point.

The minister of the church, Father Barron, expressed to us his sorrow over the damage:

“These poor misguided souls obviously know nothing about our savior. White, as we all know, is associated with goodness and purity. For this reason it is obvious what the skin tone of Jesus was. Were he any other color, he would more likely have been the son of Lucifer.”

This attack on religious imagery is an obvious hate crime and should be pursued as such. Or perhaps it was perpetrated by souls who really need to be saved and introduced to the one, true, pure as snow Jesus Christ.
